Instructions
- Prepare the simple syrup by combining sugar (or honey) and water in a saucepan, warming until dissolved, then cool.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup, then shake until cold.
- Fill a Collins glass with ice, strain the shaker contents into the glass, and top with club soda.
- Garnish with a lemon or orange round and a cocktail cherry, then enjoy.
