Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and coat a 9x13 inch pan with cooking spray.
- Mix the chocolate cake mix, 1 egg, and ½ cup melted butter until well blended.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- Scatter the mini peanut butter cups over the cake layer.
- In a mixer, beat the cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth.
- Add the eggs, vanilla, and melted butter to the mixture and combine well.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar while mixing on low until just blended.
- Pour the peanut butter mixture over the cake layer and bake for 45 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Allow to cool completely, then cut into squares and serve with whipped cream and chopped peanut butter cups if desired.
