Blackberry Coffee Cake

The topping

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper after greasing the pan.
- Combine all topping ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well, then set aside.
- In another bowl, blend all cake ingredients except blackberries until well incorporated.
- Fold in the blackberries, mixing well and crushing some in the batter.
- Pour half of the batter into the baking dish, followed by half of the topping.
- Add the remaining batter and topping, flattening with a spatula.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
