Strawberry-Mint Sauvignon Blanc Sangria

Ingredients

The Sangria

  • 2 tablespoons agave nectar or honey
  • 1 bottle (750 mL) Sauvignon Blanc white wine
  • 1 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • ½ orange zest and pulp
  • 8 medium sprigs mint

Garnish

  • 5 small strawberries
  • 4 slices orange

Instructions

  1. Dissolve agave nectar into the wine in a glass bowl or pitcher.
  2. Add strawberries, orange zest and pulp, and 4 mint sprigs, reserving the prettiest mint for garnish.
  3. Chill the mixture for 4 hours to overnight.
  4. Fill large wine glasses with crushed ice.
  5. Pour or ladle the sangria over the ice, allowing the fruit to fall into each glass.
  6. Garnish with the reserved mint, strawberries, and orange slices.
