Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 baking dish.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, then sauté the onion and celery until soft.
- In a large bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, crumbled cornbread, eggs, 1 cup of chicken stock, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well, adding more chicken stock as needed.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until the top is browned. Remove from the oven and serve warm.
