Instructions
- Combine all ingredients for the maple BBQ sauce in a bowl and whisk together.
- Heat oil in a medium-sized skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced or crumbled tempeh to the pan and sear for 3-5 minutes on each side until crispy.
- Add the BBQ sauce to the pan, covering the tempeh, and mix thoroughly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to caramelize the sauce on the tempeh.
- Serve over salad, gluten-free grain, or in a sandwich or wrap.
