Rum Bundt Cake

The glaze

Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 325ºF.
- 2. Mix all cake ingredients with an electric mixer for five minutes.
- 3. Grease and lightly flour a bundt pan.
- 4. Bake the cake for one hour.
- 5. Meanwhile, combine the glaze ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- 6. When the cake comes out of the oven, pour one-third of the glaze mixture into the bottom of the cake.
- 7. Let the cake sit for 30 minutes before turning it out onto a cooling rack.
- 8. Paint a layer of glaze over the cake and let it harden.
- 9. Repeat painting additional layers until all the glaze is used.
