Ingredients

  • 12 fluid ounces 91% rubbing alcohol
  • 2 teaspoons emollient glycerin, fractionated coconut oil, or other skin-friendly nut or seed oil
  • 1 tablespoon 3% hydrogen peroxide
  • 1 tablespoon distilled or boiled water
  • 2 teaspoons distilled or boiled water
  • a few drops essential oils (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a clean glass lidded jar, combine rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and distilled water.
  2. Add the emollient and shake vigorously until well mixed.
  3. Pour the mixture into small spray bottles and label them.
  4. If desired, add a few drops of essential oils to each bottle.
  5. Shake the mixture before each use and apply to hands or surfaces.
