Instructions
- Trim and slice the chicken breast to half its thickness.
- Marinate the chicken in a zip lock bag with shio koji and garlic powder for 30 minutes.
- Remove the marinade from the chicken.
- Prepare the batter by mixing egg, water, and mayonnaise in a bowl, then add flour and combine.
- Dip the chicken in the batter and coat it with panko crumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and check the temperature with a piece of panko.
- Deep fry the chicken for about 2 minutes on each side until cooked.
- Slice the chicken into 2 cm wide pieces and serve with salad leaves and lemon.
