Ingredients

  • ½ cup lowfat milk
  • 2 small oranges (or 1 large), peeled and chopped
  • ½ medium banana, broken into pieces
  • ½ inch ginger root, peeled and thinly sliced (about 2 teaspoons, or 4 g)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened almond butter
  • 4 cubes ice

Instructions

  1. 1. Pour the ingredients into the blender in the order listed.
  2. 2. Puree on low speed, gradually increasing to high until smooth, about 1 minute.
  3. 3. Drink immediately or store leftovers in the fridge for up to a day.
