Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flours, sugar, baking powder, spices, and salt.
- Make a well in the center and add the apple sauce, milk, and vinegar; mix until smooth.
- Fold in the grated carrots and nuts if using.
- Pour the batter into an 8 or 9-inch cake pan.
