Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 package Eat Banza Chickpea Spaghetti pasta

The sauce

  • 3 tbsp Organic Pastures Raw Salted Butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • cup raw parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot.
  2. Prepare the pasta according to package instructions, reserving ⅔ cup of the pasta water.
  3. In a medium skillet, heat the olive oil and butter until melted.
  4. Add the black pepper and stir for about one minute.
  5. Add half of the reserved pasta water and let it simmer for about two minutes.
  6. Add the cooked pasta and coat it well with the sauce.
  7. Stir in the egg yolk and parmesan cheese, ensuring the spaghetti is evenly coated.
  8. Plate the dish and add more cheese and pepper to taste.
