Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a sauce pot and sauté minced garlic until soft and fragrant.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt, basil, oregano, cracked pepper, and red pepper flakes to the pot and stir to combine.
- Cover the pot, bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for at least 15 minutes, up to 30 minutes.
