Crockpot Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Instructions
- Rinse the wild rice and place it in the crockpot with raw chicken, mirepoix, chicken broth, and poultry seasoning.
- Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours until the chicken is cooked through and the rice is soft.
- Remove the chicken, shred it, and return it to the crockpot.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, and let it bubble for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in whole milk until thick and creamy, then stir in the wine.
- Add the mixture to the crockpot, stir to combine, and adjust consistency with extra liquid if needed.
