Simple Strawberry Smoothie

The smoothie base

frozen strawberries, thawed for 5 to 10 minutes

Optional boosters

old-fashioned oats

maple syrup
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender, starting with the almond milk.
- Blend on low until the mixture gains traction, then increase to the highest speed.
- If needed, stop to scrape down the sides and add more milk for blending ease.
- Once smooth, taste and add maple syrup for sweetness if desired.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
