Ingredients

The smoothie

  • 16 oz non-dairy milk of choice
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • ½ to ⅔ cup chopped kale
  • 1 tablespoon creamy almond butter
  • a pinch ground cinnamon

Optional garnish and add-ins

  • to taste fresh mint leaves
  • 4 oz plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 scoop collagen or vegan protein powder

Instructions

  1. Measure all ingredients.
  2. Prepare the ingredients by washing the produce and removing the stems from the berries.
  3. Blend all ingredients in a high-power blender until smooth and creamy.
  4. Divide into glasses, top with mint leaves if desired, and serve immediately.
