Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Pat the turkey dry and remove contents from the inner cavity.
- Place the turkey breast side down and cut along the backbone to remove it.
- Flip the turkey over and flatten the breasts, tucking the wings back.
- Place the turkey on a baking sheet or roasting pan.
- Inject the turkey with marinade, focusing on various areas.
- Drizzle the turkey with olive oil and season with spices, rubbing them into the skin.
- Roast the turkey for 1½ to 2 hours, checking for an internal temperature of at least 165°F.
- Let the turkey rest for a minimum of 20 minutes before slicing.
