Ingredients

The filling

  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 Tbsp. brown or white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. honey or agave nectar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • a pinch cinnamon
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

The shells

  • 15 mini phyllo shells (1 box)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, sugar, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans until mixed.
  4. Arrange the mini phyllo shells on a baking sheet.
  5. Fill each mini shell with one rounded teaspoon of the pecan mixture.
  6. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the filling is set.
  7. Let cool before serving.
