Ingredients

The salmon

  • 1 pound wild-caught Alaskan salmon, cut into 4 fillets

The cooking liquid and seasoning

  • 1 cup water
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Instructions

  1. Pour water into the Instant Pot and place the metal trivet on top.
  2. Arrange the salmon fillets in a single layer on the trivet and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Secure the lid and set the pressure release valve to sealing.
  4. Cook on high pressure for 3 minutes (5 minutes if using frozen salmon).
  5. Once cooking is complete, quickly release the pressure.
  6. Serve the salmon warm with your favorite sauce and side dish.
