Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Process the crust ingredients until fine crumbs form.
- Combine the crumbs with melted butter and press into a pie dish.
- Bake the crust for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Mash 1 ½ cups of strawberries and mix with honey and water.
- Combine sugar and cornstarch, then add to the strawberry mixture and boil until thickened.
- Stir in vanilla and food coloring, then fold in remaining strawberries.
- Pour filling into the cooled crust and let cool for 10 minutes.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Prepare whipped cream by beating the ingredients until soft peaks form.
- Spread whipped cream over the pie and serve.
