Ingredients

The sliders

  • 8 ounces jumbo lump crab meat
  • cup whole wheat bread crumbs
  • ¼ cup red peppers, diced
  • ¼ cup green peppers, diced
  • 1 medium egg
  • ¼ cup reduced fat mayo
  • ½ of a lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • cooking spray

The chipotle mayo

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients except flour and slider buns together.
  2. Form the mixture into patties and apply a dash of flour to each.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and spray with cooking spray.
  4. Pan fry the crab cakes for 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  5. Serve the crab cakes on slider buns.
