Ingredients

The filling

  • 3 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 ½ tablespoons powdered sugar

The pastry

  • 1 8 oz tube reduced fat crescent roll dough

The fruit

  • cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar, then mix until smooth.
  3. 3. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into 8 triangles.
  4. 4. Place one triangle of dough with the short side facing you and spread about a tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture on the bottom third.
  5. 5. Top the cream cheese with two rows of blueberries.
  6. 6. Roll the dough from the edge closest to you to the tip, encasing the blueberries.
  7. 7. Place the rolled dough on a baking sheet and repeat with the remaining ingredients.
  8. 8. Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 10-13 minutes until golden.
