Ingredients

The filling

  • 2 cups mixed berries
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 pinch salt

The pastry

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, defrosted

For garnish

  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed berries, sugar, cornstarch, and salt.
  3. 3. On a floured surface, roll the defrosted puff pastry into a 10"x14" rectangle.
  4. 4. Cut the pastry into 12 equal squares and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. 5. Wet the edges of each pastry square with water and pinch the corners to form walls.
  6. 6. Fill each pastry square with the berry mixture and chill in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  7. 7. Bake the pastries for 20 minutes until golden and puffy.
  8. 8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
