Instructions
- Cook the bacon until crispy, then chop it into small pieces.
- Add the bacon to a slow cooker.
- Place all remaining ingredients in the slow cooker and stir well.
- Cook on low for about 8 hours until the vegetables are tender.
- Use an immersion blender to puree the chowder, leaving some chunks.
- Season with additional salt and pepper as needed, and serve warm.
