The sauce

  • 1 cup water
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • cup sake
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 6 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 4 pieces green onions (chopped, white and green parts)

Instructions

  1. Place the short ribs in the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs.
  3. Cook on high for 5 to 6 hours until the meat is tender, flipping the ribs once during cooking.
