Slow Cooker Beef Short Ribs

Instructions
- 1. Set the slow cooker to low and line it with a slow cooker liner if desired.
- 2. Pat the short ribs dry with a paper towel and place them in a large Ziploc bag.
- 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika, then add to the Ziploc bag and shake to coat the ribs.
- 4. Heat vegetable oil in a large sauté pan over medium heat and brown the short ribs on all sides for 1-2 minutes each.
- 5. Remove the ribs and place them in the slow cooker.
- 6. Discard excess grease from the pan, leaving the browned bits, and add chopped onion, cooking for 2 minutes while scraping the bits.
- 7. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan, stir to combine, and bring to a low boil for 1-2 minutes.
- 8. Pour the mixture over the short ribs in the slow cooker.
- 9. Cover and cook for 6 hours or until the meat is tender and falls off the bone.
- 10. Serve hot over your choice of starch or vegetables.
