Instructions
- Combine garlic powder, rosemary, oregano, salt, and mustard in a small bowl to make the seasoning blend.
- Pat the beef ribs dry and sprinkle the seasoning mix on all sides. Refrigerate overnight if desired.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the seasoned ribs for 1 minute on each side.
- Transfer the seared ribs to the slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, add diced onion and carrots, cooking for 6 minutes.
- Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1 minute before mixing it with the vegetables.
- Add the vegetable mixture to the slow cooker, then pour in beef broth and balsamic vinegar.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
