Slow Cooker Balsamic Braised Beef Short Ribs

Instructions
- Mix the spice blend ingredients in a small bowl.
- Pat the short ribs dry and rub the spice blend on both sides.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add coconut oil, and sear the short ribs for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
- Place the seared short ribs in the slow cooker and add the tomato sauce, balsamic vinegar, dried dates, and smashed garlic cloves.
- Cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the beef is tender.
- Serve with your choice of side dishes.
