Orange, Date and Coconut Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 orange orange
  • 5 pieces dates
  • ¼ cup boiling water
  • ½ frozen banana frozen banana
  • ½ cup fat free Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • 1 scoop vanilla flavored whey protein powder
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp unsweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

  1. Soak the dates in boiling water for 5-10 minutes to soften.
  2. Peel the orange and cut it into 8-10 pieces.
  3. Combine all ingredients except shredded coconut in a food processor and blend until smooth, about one minute.
  4. Pour into a glass and garnish with shredded coconut.
