Cookie Base

  • 2 large eggs

Chocolate Coating

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons shortening
  • 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven and prepare a baking sheet.
  2. Mix the cake mix, butter, and eggs to form a thick dough.
  3. Roll out the dough and cut into small rounds.
  4. Bake the rounds until firm and let them cool.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips with shortening in a double boiler.
  6. Stir in the peppermint extract.
  7. Dip the cooled cookies in the chocolate mixture.
  8. Place the dipped cookies on a cooling rack to set.
