Chicken Korma

Ingredients

The base

  • 2 medium Onions
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 2-inch knob Fresh ginger

Spices

  • 2 tsp Ground cumin
  • 2 tsp Ground coriander
  • 2 tsp Turmeric
  • ½ tsp Chili powder
  • 1 tsp Sea salt

The protein

  • 4 8-oz Boneless skinless chicken breasts

The sauce

  • cup Wholesome Yum Blanched Almond Flour
  • 1 ½ cups Chicken broth, reduced sodium
  • cup Heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Blend the onion, garlic, and ginger to form a paste.
  2. Cook the paste in a skillet with water over low heat for 8 minutes.
  3. Stir in the spices and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken and sauté until no longer pink.
  5. Mix in the almond flour and broth, add salt, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in the cream and adjust salt to taste.
