Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch tart pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, ginger, cinnamon, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped chocolate and spread the batter into the prepared pan.
- Arrange the sliced pears on top of the batter without overlapping too much.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until slightly puffed and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before removing from the pan and serving.
