Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch metal baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream the butter, applesauce, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla, then add the pumpkin and mix until combined.
- Stir in the dry ingredients and fold in the chocolate chips.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared pan.
- For the streusel, mix flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.
- Add the butter and mix until clumpy, then sprinkle over the batter along with additional chocolate chips and pecans.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely before serving.
