Ingredients

The crust

  • 1 and ¾ cups salted roasted peanuts
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tablespoons light brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 3 Tablespoons ice water

The filling and topping

  • 1 cup homemade salted caramel
  • 6 ounces milk or semi-sweet chocolate
  • 2 Tablespoons creamy peanut butter
  • optional chopped Snickers bar
  • optional crushed peanuts
  • optional extra caramel for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. In a food processor, pulse ¾ cup peanuts, flour, brown sugar, and salt until coarse.
  3. Add cold butter and pulse until pea-sized crumbs form.
  4. Transfer to a bowl and stir in ice water until the dough comes together.
  5. Press the dough into a 9-inch tart pan tightly and line with foil or parchment for pie weights.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes and let cool slightly.
  7. Mix salted caramel with 1 cup of peanuts and pour into the crust.
  8. Melt chocolate and peanut butter together until smooth and spread over the filling.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until set.
