Easy Cheesy Chicken Noodles
Ingredients
The noodles and sauce

egg noodles (homestyle, thick and doughy)

cornstarch

cooked, shredded chicken breast

butter

milk

shredded cheese (Cheddar and Monterrey Jack)
Toppings

crumbled bacon or breadcrumbs
Instructions
- 1. Sauté garlic in olive oil until soft and fragrant.
- 2. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil, then add noodles and cook until just barely done.
- 3. Dissolve cornstarch in cold water and add to the boiling noodles, cooking for another minute.
- 4. Remove from heat and stir in shredded chicken without draining the broth.
- 5. Let the noodles cool slightly to thicken the broth into a sauce.
- 6. Return the pan to low heat and mix in butter, milk, and cheese for a few minutes.
- 7. Top with crumbled bacon or breadcrumbs and serve immediately.
