Ingredients

The pasta

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni

The dairy

  • 1 ½ cups half and half
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 16 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 ounces deli American cheese

The binders

  • 2 large eggs

The seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil the pasta for 5 minutes, then drain.
  2. Transfer the pasta to your slow cooker and add half and half and sour cream, stirring to combine.
  3. Add the cream cheese and stir until distributed.
  4. Add the eggs and stir again.
  5. Add the cheddar, American cheese, mustard, salt, and cayenne pepper, stirring well.
  6. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 hours.
