Ingredients

  • ¼ cup ground banana chips or ground lovegrown flakes
  • ¼ cup sprinkles
  • ¼ cup almond meal
  • ¼ cup coconut flour
  • ⅓–½ cup peanut butter or sunflower seed butter
  • 6–8 tablespoon protein powder (vanilla)
  • ¼ to ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon lemon extract or lemon NuNaturals stevia
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract or NuNaturals Stevia

Instructions

  1. Substitute lemon extract with butter extract for a birthday cake option and add gluten-free cake mix for more cake flavor.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  3. Mix in the nut butter, extracts, and honey.
  4. Mix well, preferably using your hands, and roll into bite-sized balls.
  5. Coat the bites with extra protein powder and sprinkles after they have set in the freezer for at least 5-10 minutes.
  6. Return the coated bites to the freezer or store in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
