Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine sour cream or Greek yogurt, cream cheese, onions, garlic powder, Creole seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the thawed and drained hash browns.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9x13 baking dish or a 10-inch cast iron skillet.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheeses on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 35-40 minutes until the potatoes are soft and the cheese is bubbly.
- For a crunchy cheese topping, remove the foil, increase the oven temperature to 400 degrees, and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until browned.
- Allow to cool before serving.
