Spicy Serrano Grapefruit Margarita

Instructions
- Combine the rim ingredients in a shallow dish and mix well.
- Run a lime slice over the rim of each glass and dip into the mixture to coat.
- Fill the glasses halfway with ice and set aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the serrano slice with the simple syrup.
- Add the strained citrus juices, tequila, and a pinch of kosher salt to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into the rimmed glasses.
- Garnish with a small grapefruit or lime wedge and serve immediately.
