Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare an 8x4 loaf pan.
- Heat water until warm and mix with molasses.
- In a medium bowl, combine dry ingredients: flour, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, and spices.
- Slowly add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 40-45 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a rack.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, cranberry juice, and vanilla until thick, adjusting consistency as needed.
- Once the loaf is cool, drizzle or spread the glaze on top.
