Instructions
- Prepare any desired Baja Bowl ingredients ahead of time.
- Cut the fish into four 4-ounce pieces and pat dry.
- Make the batter by whisking together beer, spices, and flour in a bowl.
- Coat the fish pieces in the batter.
- Heat oil in a skillet until very hot, then carefully fry the battered fish until golden and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes total.
- Place the fried fish on a paper towel to blot excess oil.
- Assemble the bowls with warm beans or rice as the base, add veggies, avocado, and slaw, then top with the fried fish.
- Serve with limes and chipotle mayo or hot sauce.
