Instructions
- Prepare the tikka masala sauce by mixing all sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine all meatball ingredients and mix well.
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
- Scoop and roll the meat mixture into balls and cook in the hot oil until golden brown.
- Remove meatballs and sauté diced onion in the remaining oil for 3 minutes.
- Add the browned meatballs back into the pot and pour in the tikka masala sauce.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, then cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
- Add frozen peas and cook uncovered for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Taste and adjust salt if necessary, then serve over your choice of grain and garnish with parsley.
