Ingredients

Dashimaki Tamago

  • 3 eggs eggs
  • 2 tsp Shirodashi
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Atsumaki Tamago

  • 3 eggs eggs
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and mix with the appropriate seasonings.
  2. Strain the egg mixture through a sieve to ensure smoothness.
  3. Preheat the frying pan and add olive oil.
  4. Pour 1/3 of the egg mixture into the pan and let it cook slightly.
  5. Fold the cooked egg to one side and add more egg mixture to the empty space.
  6. Repeat the folding and rolling process with the remaining egg mixture.
  7. Once cooked, wrap the rolled egg in a kitchen towel and shape it.
  8. Slice into pieces and serve.
