Ingredients

Pad Thai Sauce

  • 3 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Beef Pad Thai

  • 8 oz pad thai noodles
  • 1 lb steak
  • 1 shallot
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 green onions
  • 2 cups fresh bean sprouts
  • 3 cups snow peas
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper

Garnish (optional)

  • to taste lime wedges
  • to taste red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. Mix the sauce ingredients in a small bowl or jar and set aside.
  3. Slice the steak into thin strips.
  4. Prepare the shallot, garlic, green onions, and snow peas.
  5. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook shallot and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the beef strips, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until cooked through.
  7. Add snow peas and green onions, cooking for an additional 2 minutes.
  8. Stir in the noodles and bean sprouts, then pour the pad thai sauce over everything and mix well.
  9. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is combined and heated through.
  10. Serve immediately with lime juice and red pepper flakes if desired.
