Instructions
- Combine water and dashi powder, then add beaten eggs.
- Mix all-purpose flour in a large bowl and combine with the dashi and egg mixture.
- Add chopped cabbage, scallions, cooked bacon bits, red pickled ginger, and tenkasu to the batter and mix well.
- Take a heaped ladle of batter and pour it into one side of an oiled waffle iron, filling the other side as well.
- Press the waffle iron and cook over medium heat for about 2 minutes on each side.
- Serve the waffles drizzled with Okonomiyaki sauce and garnished with bonito flakes and aonori seaweed flakes.
