Ingredients

The syrup

  • 1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • cup water

The milk

  • 2 cups milk

Instructions

  1. 1. In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water, and heat over medium-high until boiling.
  2. 2. Reduce heat to medium-low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. 3. Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh strainer if desired, then refrigerate.
  4. 4. To serve, whisk together ¼ cup of the blueberry syrup with 1 cup of cold milk.
