Tomato-Basil Soup

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
- Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Stir in the tomatoes and basil, bringing the mixture to a boil.
- Add cream cheese and stir until melted.
- Blend the mixture until smooth, then return it to the saucepan.
- Stir in milk, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Serve with toasted bread or a sandwich.
