Instructions
- Boil the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt the butter over medium-low heat.
- Add the flour to the melted butter and stir for 1 minute.
- Pour in the milk and stir over low heat until the sauce thickens.
- Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the sauce.
- Remove the sauce from heat to prevent it from breaking.
- Stir in the cheese and allow it to melt slowly, adding milk if needed for a smooth consistency.
- Add the cooked pasta to the cheese sauce and mix well.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
