Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and grease an 8-inch cake pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the vanilla extract, vinegar, oil, and water to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
- Transfer the cake batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
- Spread a thin layer of chocolate frosting on the cooled cake, add a layer of raspberries, and then a thicker layer of frosting.
