Roasted Broccoli Pasta

fresh broccoli, cut into florets

fresh Parmesan, grated

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 420°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, toss together the broccoli, olive oil, garlic, and salt.
- Spread the broccoli on the baking sheet and roast for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions and reserve 1 cup of pasta water.
- In a medium saucepan, heat 3 tablespoons of olive oil and add garlic and crushed red pepper, cooking for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta and reserved pasta water to the saucepan and cook until well coated and partially absorbed, about 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and toss the pasta with the roasted broccoli and Parmesan.
- Top with basil and pine nuts before serving.
